The short version
Curtains collects nothing about you. No account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party code that phones home.
What stays on your iPhone
The devices you add, their names, which steps you've done, your re-check dates and reminders. They live only on your iPhone (and in its own backups). You can export them as a file or erase them any time in House rules.
The one network call
If "Download updated menu paths" is on, the app asks curtains.aiappnation.com for a small signed file listing updated menu paths. The request carries no name, account, device ID or usage data. Like any web request it comes from your internet address; we don't use it to identify you and we don't link it to anything. Switch it off in House rules and the app never goes online by itself.
Links that bring you here
Our video links can end in ?v= and a video code. If you open the app from one, the app notes that code on your iPhone only and shows it back to you under "How is this free?". It is never sent to us. "Erase everything" deletes it.
If you email us
"Write to the Usher" opens your own Mail app with a draft. Nothing is sent unless you press Send. If you do, we receive what you wrote and your email address at [email protected], use it only to reply and fix the guide, and never sell or share it.
Children
Curtains isn't aimed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page changes first, with a new date at the top.
